More than 4,000 counseling professionals from around the U.S. and the globe will attend the ACA 2012 Conference & Expo, March 21-25, at the Moscone West Convention Center in San Francisco. The ACA Conference is the largest professional development event in the world for counselors from a wide variety of settings to include, private practice, K-12 school counseling, higher education, and employment centers. In addition, about 1,000 graduate students and new professionals are expected. The keynote speaker is Irvin D. Yalom, MD, one of the most influential psychiatrists in the world today. More than 400 Education sessions and Pre-conference Learning Institutes will be held, allowing attendees to earn up to 35 CE credits. The Conference also features the largest Expo dedicated to counseling, with more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and services on the market for attendees.
